Here we come with another review of recently launched Realme 3i device. This smartphone follow up the Realme 3 device which has launched just 4 months ago. According to us, The Realme 3i is a refreshing version of the Realme 3 where we can say ”i” stands for iteration. Yes you got it right, an iteration with a refreshing and fresh design alongside the improved hardware.
Our opinion via Hands-on
Following are some of the points we consider to reveal with you all. Here are few of those lined up :
- The Realme 3i looks quite impressive and attractive with a diamond cut design than its predecessor.
- The phone comes with two variants 3GB + 32 GB storage and 4GB + 64 GB storage at an effective budget oriented price of 7999 and 9999 respectively.
- It is available in three different colours as Diamond Black, Diamond blue and Diamond red.
- At this price point, we get to see most of the needful features in this phone whether it is triple slot sim tray with Dual 4G Volte or the headphone jack with great output quality.
- The fingerprint sensor in Realme 3i is quite responsive and fast.
- The speakers could be better with good output.
- The earpiece in this smartphone could also get slightly better as the sound quality we find out is average. Otherwise we get a nice package of all the sensors in this phone.
Display :
The Realme 3i display got 6.2 inch HD comes with 720p resolution. It has an LED screen along with Gorilla glass 3 protection. This smartphone comes with LCD display. However we didn’t feel the touch responsive to our expectations. We have seen a water drop notch in this smartphone which is still not yet old to look and try out. The viewing angles of this phone looks perfect where as the brightness in this phone doesn’t match up our expectations. The colour accuracy in Realme 3i looks accurate and balanced than its previously launched mid range devices. So we have received an average Display in this smartphone.
Camera Performance :
To be honest, The Realme 3i didn’t met our expectations. It has 13+2 MP rear camera and the 13 MP front camera. We took shots of various sample with the Rear camera and the results comes out as an absence of sharpness. Focusing part is also an issue with this device. Whereas in case of portrait mode, we were surprised to get realistic results. Skin tone and Edge direction is working neat and fine.
To talk about the front camera, the details are above average and the skin tone looks great. About the Video Quality , the samples we took can be seen in our video and the EIS is missing in real time. Focusing is not an issue but the over exposure seems to be badly managed by the phone. Overall, the performance of camera in this price segment strikes as mediocre.
Performance :
The Realme 3i uses a 2.0 GHz octacore Mediatek Helio P60 chipset. The storage speed looks decent whereas the Ram management has performed badly. The delay in app load time is a minor issue and expected to get better in future with the software updates. The Gaming performance is average in this smartphone. We have played some heavy games and it responds with respective lags. We have noticed time latency in this phone. Moreover as we know that budget oriented smartphones are not made to perform heavy tasks. So you need to sacrifice some aspects of this device.
Battery Performance :
The Realme 3i comes with a massive 4230 mAH battery. This smartphone is a 720p display which consumed less battery so sky is the limit in regards to the battery back-up. You really gets easily satisfied with its battery performance. It can easily lasts up to two days. We have given this device 10 on 10 on the basis of the battery performance.
Missing factors :
We have not pointed out that major missing factors as the smartphone falls in a budget device. But one thing which is an experimental part by the company is the design. The backpanel comes with a matte finish diamond cut display which can be quite weird for some users and the company could make it better. Yet it depends on individual taste.

Lets finish off this review by a conclusion. To be genuine by all means, this smartphone is made for those users who needs a phone with dynamic battery backup and are looking out for a secondary phone. The design part is better and vary upon the choices of individual. So choose wisely.
