We must say, Realme Airbuds looks identical to the Apple Airpods. They possess most of the features which has fascinated us in some way or other. It packs wear detection, auto on and off, auto-connect and a dedicated low latency gaming mode for the game lovers. The company also assures 17 hours of battery backup making it a commendable deal to purchase them.

Lets have a detailed look into this.

Design and build quality :

  • We have divided the design section in two parts. I.e earbuds and case design. In case of earbuds design. It looks completely reminiscent to Apple Airpodssuch as shining plastic body, long stamps and a comfortable curvy 45 degree earphone nozzles obtaining a secure fit. Yet it highly varies from person to person.
  • Absence of silicon tip neglects the ambient noise with the support of environment noise cancellation. We do consider it as a premium looking capsule with high quality earphones.
  • Interestingly, the earbuds do support touch gestures. Double tap is used to play or pause the sound track and accept or reject the call. Triple tap is used to skip to the next track. By pressing long on the earbuds, you can launch Google assistant. By pressing long on both the buds, you can get into the gaming mode which shows low latency.
  • The aforementioned gesture are not absolutely accurate and often need to try twice or thrice to get the desired response. Which can be highly annoying. But we really appreciate this feature in this price range making it super value for money.
  • Call quality and microphone performs righteous and helps in noise cancellation.
  • In terms of case design, it seems to be glossy and premium. In addition to this, the earbuds consists of magnetic field which automatically fits into the charging case alike apple Airpods.
  • The case is quite handy and compact as compared to other heavy earpods.

Performance :

  • It is powered by R1 chip for low latency as compared to the Apple H1 chip in the airpods.
  • The Realme buds air has 12mm dynamic bass boost driver.
  • It gives a pleasant sound and on-point with the help of its bass producing punchy beats.
  • With such an effective pricing, it supports wireless charging too.

Battery life :

  • In case of battery life, Realme claims of 3 hours on the buds themselves. We managed to extract about 3 hours from the buds itself. The charging case has the potential and capability to charge up the earbuds 3-4 times.
  • We can easily get the 12 hour battery capacity inside the case if we tend to listen full playback on high volume.
  • It is extremely a virtuous benchmark in terms of battery capacity.

Conclusion :

We can easily say that these airbuds are just a fantastic deal to grab. Don’t go into the extreme details, just fetch these airbuds from the Realme and enjoy the same quality Airpods like Apple in just Rs 3,999.
