- We have to appreciate Xiaomi as we have got a dual nano sim tray along with a dedicated micro SD card slot in this smartphone.
- The output of the headphone jack is clear and loud and the speakers quality works fine even in noisy environment.
- The physical finger print scanner on the back is highly responsive. One minor issue comes to reach the finger at the fingerprint scanner as the phone is quite broad. You may wrongly place your finger on the ultra wide angle lens which in turn can create smudges on the lens and can disturb the image quality.
- The phone is highly durable. We didn’t find any noticeable scratches on the screen after heavy usage.
- The phone has IR blaster. With the help of Mi remote, you can switch on and off you’re A.C or T.V.it can be a great functionality for many of the users.

- Honestly speaking, It is not the best camera phone when I compare it with its competitors such as Realme XT. Realme is by far the best in this section than redmi.
- In day light conditions, the pictures comes out not that bright or sharp in any means. It is really a disappointment.
- The shots taken in night mode looks very noisy. We were expected to improve after software updates. But the shots remains the same.
- In case of portrait mode, it blurs even the subjective part which makes the picture more weird. The edge detection is really too bad.
- In artificial light conditions, it makes the subject more soft than it needs to be.
- Eventually, we had a bad experience testing this camera. Realme XT can clearly kill the Redmi Note 8 Pro specifically in this camera section.
- Performance :
- Redmi Note 8 Pro is “ THE BEST “ in terms of performance.
- This phone packs with a Media Tek G90T processor. It is known to work best for Gaming performance.
- The MiUi 10 is very well optimised in this phone.
- Android optimization works brilliant. App load time and reboot time is very fast. Frankly, we haven’t noticed any lack of performance in any sector.
- We faced some heating issues while Playing heavy games like PUB G. One interesting part is that you can play games on high settings which runs very smoothly.
- If you are a gamer then we suggest you to play in segments, but if you play it continuously then this issue can become troublesome due to the heating issue.
- Ram management performs exceptionally high. Overall the performance of this phone is considered to be the best.
- Battery :
- The phone bundles with 4500 mAh battery.
- One good thing to see in the box is that we have 18 volts fast charger. So it’s a great add-on inside the package.
- The battery lasts long for a full day with a leftover battery of 10%.
- Overall the battery backup looks phenomenal on this phone.
