Realme X is undoubtedly giving a tough competition to the most popular mid range devices. Either you pick up Redmi Note 7 Pro or Redmi K20. They are giving a competitive user experience, All this is to say, the Realme x has its difficult cut out for it.

We have thoroughly used this phone for a long time. Now it’s a high time to produce the high’s and low’s of this phone. Firstly Let us introduce a technical term “ Effective Debugging “ . • We have noticed a very smooth experience in case of switching between the apps.
• The problem arises in the Ram management, if you spare this phone even for a while, it automatically kills the apps in the background. You can also fix it by swipe off all the modes in the battery settings. It may improve the ram management but it will degrade the battery life, which may put you in a compromise position.
• In terms of gaming performance, This phoneexceeds in all. We have played PUB G with the graphics set to HD. It runs smoothly. This might not have the powerful chipset but it can handle any game propel at it.
• The phone is free from the Heating issues. The highest temperature shoots in this phone is 38 degrees. Which is quite cooler than most of other smartphones.
• We didn’t feel any lack of performance in this smartphone and can literally pass a clear chit to this phone.

2. Battery :

• The Realme X packs with a 3765 mAH battery along with 20W VOOC charger inside the box.
• The phone can easily gives you a backup of a day without any compromise.
• The phones takes only 1 hour 15 minutes to top up the battery. One more interesting thing is that it boost up the 45% battery in just 15 mins of charge.
• The screen-on time is about 5-6 hours with Jio 4G volte on.
• We will recommend you to not use face unlock as it uses the motorised camera which drains the battery quickly. Moreover, Haptic feedback also soaks the battery swiftly.
• These small things can be implemented to automatically improve the battery backup of this smartphone. It makes the experience so better.

3. Design :

• The phone is an epitome of beauty with a large size. Those who love to have such big size phones can definitely have a look onto it.
• The phone comes with a plastic body and it is prone to scratches very easily. It is recommended to use a case or cover to avoid the smudges and scratches.
• About the call quality and networks, we didn’t face any issues. The ear-piece is clear and loud.
• The phone has a dual sim tray and the speaker output is Crisp and clear.
• The phone has inbuilt fingerprint scanner. It annoys you only when your hands are sweaty. The face unlock does a decent job.
• We seriously missed the LED notification light.

4. Display :

• The phone comes with a 6.53 inch AMOLED DISPLAY with Gorilla glass 5 protection on top, there is sufficient protection offering at this price point.
• It is plenty bright to use the phone outdoors under the bright sun.
• The Amoled Display makes the experience either in watching videos or playing games very immersive.
• The sharpness and colours of Amoled Display is perfectly outstanding and it makes the interaction with the phone more smoothly.
• Altogether the phone is finely Saturated and the resolution is adequate for the size of the screen.

5. Camera :

• The phone has a magnificent Dual rear camera of 48+5MP whereas the front cameraequipped with 16MP.
• We have shot various pictures and you can see the day light shots are surprisingly awesome. The dynamic range, sharpness and saturation comes out wonderful.

• We haven’t noticed any issues in artificial lighting too. The white balance is effectively managed by the phone and pictures comes out sharp and clear.

• In case of portrait mode, The skin tone looks fine but the background blur losses out completely.Wewish it to improve in near future.

• In Low light conditions, the night mode performs great.

• About the front camera, the skin tone looks natural and sharp. In portrait mode, you get to see a good blur effect.
• It also performs exceptionally good in shooting video The white balance and stabilisation in recording videos is marvelous. The exposure is finely managed by the camera. The audio recording in video carry out phenomenal.
• There are very small number of smartphones which works best both on audio and video quality. This phone stands out in the utmost placein terms of camera performance.

This Realme X is a perfect package of well built quality, premium design, an excellent camera, in Display fingerprint scanner with a well optimised software in a price of around 17k. It is a worthy smartphone to have it in your list of choices.
